Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with Mollner Dentistry, please allow us at least 48 hours notice and we would be happy to change your appointment time.
We always strive to accommodate as many patients as we can each day, and every time slot that we schedule is very important to maintain efficiency. Cancellations inside of 48 hours are typically very difficult for us to re-fill with a different patient, and our staff is still required to be on hand and ready for your treatment. Last minute cancellations effectively block other patients from being able to schedule with us, and use up staff resources.
For these reasons, we have a very strict 48 hour cancellation policy. Any appointment cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will result in a charge of $75/hour for hygiene/cleaning appointments, and $100/hour for dentist/restorative appointments. 100% of fees go towards staff wages.
We do offer exceptions to the cancellation policy for emergencies with proper documentation. Documentation is not necessary to cancel, but please email us within a few weeks of settling your emergency to discuss steps to request cancellation fee waiver.
Our goal is not to punish last minute cancellations – but we hope you can understand that we employ highly trained clinicians and assistants who are on stand-by specifically for your appointment. Cancellations and no-shows waste precious time and cost for our team to remain on standby, and also blocks other patients ability to schedule with us. Our cancellation fees help to offset the cost of our support staff.
Thank you for your understanding!

COVID-19 Response:
We understand that COVID-19 cases still occasionally show up in our community, and that there was once a large stigma against treatment with the virus. We implement “Universal Precautions” disease transmission prevention on ALL appointments to effectively minimize and eliminate transmission pathways of the virus, as well as any other respiratory virus and blood-borne illness.
The CDC will allow us to treat patients positive for COVID-19 under the Universal Precautions method, and studies support that transmission is effectively blocked with proper Universal Precautions.
If you believe you may be positive for COVID-19, please wear a mask and practice good hand hygiene as you move through the office.
